Only a stone-throw away from Echo Beach, the most famous spot along Canggu beach, sits the charming Villa Asante, a modern villa combining luxury comfort and ultimate enjoyment of tropical surrounding. Ample plot of land gently stepping down to a river, bordering the premise with lush rice field on the other side, houses three separate pavilions accommodating 8 adults in its 4 luxurious suites.

Accommodation

Upon entering the wooden entrance door is the main pavilion housing the four bedrooms, all come with walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, and feature modern large LCD screen each with DVD player and international TV channels. Three bedrooms have double bed whilst the remaining one has twin beds.

En-suite bathrooms of the downstairs bedrooms offer unique bathing experience with an oversized freestanding terrazzo bathtub positioned behind full glass wall overlooking closed garden. A separated standing shower is located outdoor in the garden. En-suite of upstairs bedrooms are indoor. Absence of bathtub these bedrooms only offer standing shower. Double wash basins are standard in all bathrooms, as well as hairdryers.

A few steps down over lush garden are two open living pavilions positioned next to each other, and separated by a shallow area of the swimming pool. On the right-hand side is the living area with comfortable couches suitable for relaxed lounging and other get-together functions. On the left-hand side is dining area with long formal dining table seating 10. Connected to the dining area is an ultra-modern kitchen. Both pavilions are open in three of their sides allowing breeze to freely travel across whilst enjoying the views over the swimming pool.

In front of the living pavilions is large swimming pool with shallow children section and spacious pool-side deck on two of its side, which is also suitable for barbecue. A few steps down from the poolside, spacious lawn facing the riverside is suitable as children playground or garden party.

Location

About 200meters from the villa is the famous Echo Beach, the most famous spot of Canggu beach where most surfers – both casuals and professionals – catch the wave to ride on. There are two decent restaurants down the beach offering international dishes and grilled seafood, both offering free high-speed internet connection.

Reachable within about 30 minutes drive from Bali International Airport, Canggu is one of the most famous surfing beaches, not only on the island but also worldwide. This once and then sleepy fishing village is only a little part of miles of golden sandy beach spanning along the island’s South-West coast, from Jimbaran down the South towards Tanah Lot up North. Seminyak with all of its up-market tourism facilities is reachable within only a few minutes drive.
